New Baby!!

Keslee Ann Miller
November 2, 2010
5lb 12oz, 18.5"

Keslee was due November 26th, but decided that was way to long to wait.  She came 3 1/2 weeks early on November 2.  It was quite the suprise when I told Andrew early in the morning that my water broke and we were going to be having the baby.  We took the kids over to my sister Kristie's house and headed over to the hospital.  We checked in around 9:00am, got the epidural around 11:00am, Andrew went to vote around 12:00pm, and had a baby at 2:45pm.

She came out calm and not wanting to cry.  She had her cord wrapped around her neck twice and it was in a knot.  I feel like it was a blessing she came early, delivery could have been scary had it been a few weeks later with her cord like that.  The nurses worked with her to get her to cry, but she didn't want to.  Look at this face, I love it.

It felt like she had been part of our family since we found out we were having a girl, it was so nice to finally meet her and hold her in my arms.

Andrew gave her a bath so she needed to get warmed up.  The kids got to meet her through the glass in the nursery.  She stuck her little arm up and the kids were super excited that she could wave at them.
Zach was worried in the morning when we left for the hospital.  He is my little snuggler.  He came and snuggled right into me and then began to love the baby!  He hasn't stopped loving her since.  It has been 2 1/2 weeks I hope he slows down soon.

I can't believe Caeden is so big!!  Just 8 years ago we were at the hospital with a tiny Caeden.  He was 4lb 13oz and Keslee was 5lb 12oz.  They look so much alike.  It has been so nice to have a helper at home like Caeden.  He can resue her when she is in danger from the other two!!
Gabby was flying high being a new big sister.
Our family!!  She got to meet the kids just 4 hours after she was born.

By the second day we were sooo ready to go home.  We were ready to go, but had to wait for the doctors and nurses to release us.
 Headed home!
Look how tiny she looks next to her new puppy her cousins Aunna and Emma gave her.

 Already playing princes!
This kid cannot get enough of this baby.  She is pretty patient with all of the hugs and kisses she gets.

Pumpkin Patch

We met Cousin Tara and her family at the pumpkin patch.  The kids love to wander through the field chosing pumpkins with their own wheelbarrows.  They put a pumpkins in and out of the wheelbarrows until I finally call it quits.  At the pumpkin patch there is a corn maze and tuns of places to take pictures.  I wasn't as enthusiastic this year due to the fact that I was super pregnant, but next year I can make it up with double the picture taking!

Tara always has her girls in cute coordinating outfits.  Look at mine, they are so mismatched!!
This is the only picture I have of Halloween festivities this year.  I was getting way to pregnant and tired at this point!  Don't they look cute though?  This was before our ward Halloween party.  They also got to dress up for dance class, school, trick-or-treating at Grandma's work, the ward party, and a party at Aunt Jane's house.  Seriously, Halloween has gone crazy!

Hair cut!

So, I chose to keep Gabby home from dance class because she didn't feel good.  She ran upstairs to use the bathroom while Anrew and I were enjoying talking.  We heard wayer running, but weren't to concerned.  A few minutes later Andrew went to check on her.  All I heard was "your mom is going to kill you!"  She had cut half her hair off.  7"!!

I took her to the neighbor to fix the problem.  She didn't say a word while getting her hair fixed, but afterward she was so excited she was so beautiful.  She thought she had done a really good job cutting her hair.  It has taken a long time to convince her she should never cut her hair again.

Her haircut turned out cute, but it makes me sad her long hair is gone!!

Grandma Ethel

In September I had the opportunity to go with my parents to Texas and visit my Grandma Ethel.  She turned 98 this year.  We figured it had been about 25 years since I had last gone to Texas to visit.  It seemed like nothing had changed.  My Grandma looked the same to me, the smell of her house, her house itself hadn't changed, the property, etc.

We celebrated her 98th birthday with all of her family.  She was thrilled that everyone would come and spend the day with her.  She kept saying that the best thing she had was all of her family around her.  I loved watching her interact with the kids and to see how proud of each of them she was.

I am so greatful that I had the chance to spend a week with my parents.  It was so nice of Andrew to take the time off of work so that I could go.  He stayed the whole week with the kids being Mr. Mom.  I will always be greatful I had the chance to visit my Grandma.  She is hoping that maybe all of our family could come for her 100th birthday.

We took the oportunity to go to the Houston Temple.
